Swapnil Joshi has revealed the release date of his next keenly awaited film, Mogra Phulala.
The film will be released on 14 June. The actor revealed the release date in an unusual manner through a video on his official Facebook page.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the actor shot a video with the film’s director, Shrabani Deodhar. He wished fans on Women’s Day and then asked the director to share the good news. She said, “Mogra [Phulala] is coming on 14 June.”
The film will see Joshi break away from his urban loverboy image. The posters of the film were released earlier this month. They indicated that the actor plays a regular office-goer. Instead of his usual casual T-shirt and jeans or shorts, he is seen wearing formal clothes and travelling to office on his scooty with a tiffin box.
Mogara Phulala is also about romance. According to an official statement released earlier by the makers, the film is about a man who falls in love after being busy for many years earning a living.
Producers Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartik Nishandar said in an official statement.“Mogra Phulala is a story that will touch the hearts of the Marathi audience. We are very happy to be working with Shrabani Deodhar who is one of the most intelligent and hardworking directors in the industry.”
