Actress Pranitha Subhash has joined the growing cast of Abhishek Dudhaiya’s Bhuj: The Pride Of India, the Ahmedabad Mirror newspaper reported.
Featuring Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi SInha, Ammy Virk, Rana Daggubati and Parineeti Chopra, the war drama is set during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.
Pranitha is a popular actress in South India with performances in films like Baava (2010) and Massu Engira Masilamani (2015).
The film revolves around the role of Vijay Karnika, an Indian Air Force commander who organized 300 women around Bhuj village to create an airfield to help the IAF during the 1971 war.
The film is slated for release on 14 August 2020.
Bhuj: The Pride Of India is co-produced by Krishan Kumar, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh and Dudhaiya.
