Parineeti Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra’s Jabariya Jodi shifted to 12 July 2019

Fans of Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra will have to wait around for two more months to see the stars reunited in Prashant Singh’s Jabariya Jodi as the film has been delayed to 12 July 2019. The romantic comedy was originally supposed to be released on 17 May.

The film, which centres around groom kidnappings in northern India, avoids a clash with the Ajay Devgn-starrer De De Pyaar De which was due to be released on 15 March. The Luv Ranjan-production, directed by Akiv Ali, also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu.

The new July release date means the film will not be competing against another film for now.

Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Jabariya Jodi also stars Sanjai Mishra and Jaaved Jaaferi who play the fathers of Chopra and Malhotra respectively. Aparshakti Khurana is also part of the comedy.
