Being a sucessful footballer is hard enough. Think how difficult it would be to fill in the shoes of the Football Hall of Fame player.
Growing Up in A Broken Home
The 17-year-old Montigo Moss is the third child of former American football wide receiver Randy Moss and his ex-partner Libby Offutt. The interracial couple started dating in high school and remained together for several years overcoming various hurdles.
Things however changed between Randy and his former girlfriend, Offutt in later years. Thus, the pair parted their ways. Sadly, the separation was not amicable.
Montigo’s father Randy accused that the mother of his children, Libby was blowing millions of money in drugs. He further restricted her to meet the kids. On the other hand, Offutt denied his claims and proved she is sober for several years. She, infact, accused her ex-boyfriend of distancing her from kids.
Thankfully, the fallout between Randy and his babymama did not affect their offsprings. All of the children are growing up nicely without causing any trouble. Furthermore, the Moss children are also enjoying a stable home as their father is now happily married to Lydia Moss.
One of the Five Children
Montigo is the third child of his parents. His eldest sibling is Sydney Moss who was born on March 6, 1994. She currently works as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at St. Thomas University in Florida.
The Fork Union receiver Montigo is not the only rising football star in the family. His elder brother Thaddeus Moss (b. May 14, 1998) plays for LSU Tigers. His amazing catch against Alabama Crimson Tide during NCAA football 2019 made headlines.
Montigo’s two youngest sisters are Senali Moss and Sylee Moss. Senali plays basketball for South Mecklenburg High School in North Carolina.
Making A Name for Himself
Randy Moss’ son Montigo is walking in the footsteps of his father. He started playing football from a young age in the same position as that of his father.
Montigo joined Fork Union Military Academy in 2017 and played for the team. He always performed well and his final year stats are impressive. He posted over a thousand yards receiving an amazing 130 yards per game and a 26 yards average.
The former San Francisco 49ers player, Randy is supportive of his son’s career and tries to attend important games. On November 2, 2019, Montigo was playing his final game for his high school and his father was in attendance even after a flight mishap.
The thing is that the ESPN star, Randy landed in Bristol, Tennessee instead of Bristol, Connecticut. Thankfully, he made it to his youngest son’s game at the right time.
Living A Luxurious Life
The high school senior Montigo Moss do not have individual net worth as of now. He is not paid for his high school games.
Montigo, however, is living a comfortable life because of his millionaire parents. His father Randy Moss holds an overall fortune of $25 million. Furthermore, he earns a yearly salary of $6.5 million as an ESPN Sports analyst.
