Mahesh Babu opts out of Sukumar’s project over creative differences

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, who was all set to join hands with filmmaker Sukumar for his next project, has revealed that he has opted out of the film due to creative differences.

On Monday, Mahesh took to Twitter to make the announcement and wished Sukumar on his new project with Allu Arjun.

Mahesh also tweeted that he will always respect him as a filmmaker par excellence.

“Due to creative differences, my film with Sukumar is not happening. I wish him all the best on the announcement of his new project. Respect always for a filmmaker par excellence. 1: Nenokkadine will remain as a cult classic. Enjoyed every moment working on that film,” Mahesh tweeted.

Following the runaway success of Rangasthalam last year, Sukumar and Mahesh Babu were all set to join hands later this year for a new project, which has been now officially dropped.

They last worked together in the critically-acclaimed psychological thriller 1 – Nenokkadine (2014), Mahesh will next join hands with F2 director Anil Ravipudi for a new project in Dil Raju’s production.

According to reliable sources close to Dil Raju, who is currently bankrolling Mahesh’s upcoming project Maharshi, the popular producer convinced him to come on board Anil Ravipudi’s new film which is expected to go on the floors from May or June.

Mahesh Babu currently awaits the release of Vamshi Paidipally’s Maharshi, which is gearing up to hit the screens on 25 April. The film also stars Pooja Hegde as the leading lady.
