Akshay Kumar’s brother-in-law Karan Kapadia’s debut, Blank, postponed to 3 May

Dimple Kapadia’s nephew Karan Kapadia’s debut film Blank was earlier supposed to be out in January this year, but the film got postponed. It is now learnt that it will be released on 3 May. The film also stars Sunny Deol in an important role.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the new release date alongwith a still from the movie. It features Karan and Sunny sitting across a table. It looks like an interrogation sequence.

Although not much is known about the film, it looks like an action movie. “I’ve learnt to ride a horse and the bike. I’ve been swimming and I trained in martial arts for six months in Bangkok,” Karan said in an official statement.

Directed by debutant Behzad Khambata, the film is produced by Tony D’Souza, Dr Shrikant Bhasi, Nishant Pitti, Vishal Rana and & Pictures.

Karan is also Akshay Kumar’s brother-in-law and Twinkle Khanna’s cousin. D’Souza is a close friend of Akshay.

Before this film, director Khambata has assisted on films like OMG: Oh My God (2012), Boss (2013), One Night Stand (2016) and Azhar (2016).
