Zayn Malik’s fascination for Hindi cinema might not always have worked. The English singer-songwriter came in for quite some flak after trying to make a cover of Kailash Kher’s ‘Teri Deewani’ some time ago.
This time around, Malik has chosen the Salman Khan song, ‘Allah Duhai’, from his Race 3 for a cover.
While the song, or the film, were not exactly popular, the cover version has caught the attention of fans. Malik does put in some effort to give a very EDM twist to the composition recreated by Tushar Joshi of Jam8.
Malik’s version has an impressive section of him taking a solo through the middle portion of the song, despite his strong English accent.
The cover certainly has left an impression on fans across social media.
Wow dude, you’ve really smashed it your vocals sound fantastic! This is proof music is a universal language, we don’t have to understand lyrics or to even have lyrics, the music can convey emotion & with a vocal too this also comes out in your voice! Congrats dude it’s awesome!????????

Even Jam8, whose member Tushar Joshi composed the song for Race 3 (2018), were impressed.
This is not the first time Malik has covered an Indian tune. The singer was also a fan of ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ from Tiger Zinda Hai (2017).
