Biography
Naveen was born on 27 December 1989 in Hyderabad, India. He belongs to a family of IITians and engineers. Naveen was always inclined towards acting since his school days. He won RJ hunt contest conducted by Hyderabad Radio City 91.1. Even during his college time, he used to actively participate in cultural activities. He left his job in England and came back to India to become an actor. During his struggle period, he got a good response from the audience for his comic roles and he ended up becoming a stand-up comedian and joined ‘AIB’ (All India Bakchod). In 2018, he was awarded the Digital Hash Award for the Best Actor.

He stands 5′ 10″ (175cm) and weighs 70 kg (155 lbs). His body measurements are as follow: chest measuring 40 inches, waist 32 inches and biceps 12 inches. He has dark brown eyes and black hair.

Naveen was born into a Tamilian family. His father is a Pharmaceutical businessman and his mother is a Former Bank employee. Naveen belongs to Kapu community.
Education & Career
During his school days, he participated in many dramas and plays. During one such plays, he played a role of a bartender, it was then Naveen got serious regarding acting. Naveen did his graduation in Degree in Civil Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. He scored GPA 8.12 in Civil Engineering. He started working as a software engineer in a company in Pune but his acting bug made him resign his job and took him to Mumbai. Having spent a few days in Mumbai, Naveen realized that it was really difficult to get an acting opportunity there. He again started working with a telecom company in England as a software engineer. After some time, he realized that he is not made for such kind of jobs, after which he quit his job and came back to India. After his return to India, he started attending acting workshops in Bengaluru. Interestingly, he did not tell his parents that he had quit his job in England to become an actor, they thought that he is on a vacation. In 2014, he moved to Mumbai and during his struggle phase, he used to host live events, did a few sales jobs too. He ultimately became a stand-up comedian and joined AIB.
He played one of the three main roles in Chetan Bhagat‘s play, ‘Five Point Someone‘ after which he started doing plays and toured worldwide. His work with AIB got noticed by the team of ’24’ and offered him the central character of Kush Sawant in the crime thriller TV series alongside Anil Kapoor.
He appeared in the Telugu film ‘1 – Nenokkadine’ in which he played the role of Mahesh Babu‘s friend.
He claimed to fame when he did the web series ‘Chinese Bhasad’ (2016) produced by Viacom18 on Voot.
In 2017, he became an internet sensation with his monologue on the AIB web series – ‘Honest Engineering Campus Placements.’
In 2018, Naveen made his Telugu solo debut opposite to actress, Shruti Sharma, with the Telegu film, ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya.’
