Friend Turned into Murderer

When you are friends with someone for over 10 years, you trust them to the maximum of points and believe that they will have your back all the time. Probably, Capicchioni also thought the same as he shared a bond with his mate for ten long years.

Knocked out by Three Gunshots

On the particular day of the incident, Ross’s so-called best friend asked to drive him to the notorious area of Detroit. Despite being reluctant at first, he drove him there. But, later the 17-year-old realized that his friend wanted him to be a part of a criminal gang.

Capicchioni denied his offer and what happened next was obviously uncalled for. Surprisingly, his friend turned his colors, took his shotgun out, and shot him thrice at the arm, chest, and head. Following the shooting, he stole his car and left him to die there.

Revived by a Probation Officer

Many would have probably died if they had a little gut and fortune in compared to him. He fought for his life himself having a conversation with himself and kept his soul alive.

Fortunately, after some time, a passing-by probation officer found him so close to death and immediately called for an ambulance.

The 17-year old boy then almost gave up on his life, but the doctors did not. They tried their best and gave an emergency chest surgery to the casualty. Gradually, everything was under control and he was safe.

Even though his life was safe, a lot of damage was done, as he had to walk on wheelchairs, a stitched head, and broken teeth.

Court Proceedings to the Shooter

Ross’s shooter was already in custody because someone prior to him informed the cops about the murder attempt on him. Later, the cops confirmed the criminal with the injured Capicchioni. The once-best friend was sent to prison for 35 years for the horrific deed he performed.
