Allu Arjun announces three new projects on 36th birthday

In the wake of his year-long absence due to the disappointment surrounding his previous film, “Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India” (2018), actor Allu Arjun is now making a strong comeback with multiple projects. On his 36th birthday (8 April), he revealed details about his next three ventures.

While the first two projects are already known to be directed by Trivikram and Sukumar, respectively, the third film has been named “Icon” and will be helmed by Venu Sriram.

Arjun’s work on the film with Trivikram is set to commence later this month. Speculation is rife that Rashmika Mandanna might be paired with Arjun in either Trivikram’s or Sukumar’s film.

The collaboration between Arjun and Trivikram marks their third project together, following “Julayi” (2012) and “S/O. Sathya Murty” (2015).

Arjun’s film with Sukumar, tentatively titled “AA 20,” is in the pipeline and will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. This project is expected to begin filming after Arjun wraps up his upcoming venture with Trivikram. It will be Arjun’s third collaboration with Sukumar, after “Arya” (2004) and “Arya 2” (2009).

“Icon” will bring together Arjun and director Venu Sriram for the first time, with Sriram gaining recognition through the Nani-starrer “MCA.” If all goes according to plan, “Icon” will commence production later this year.

Rumors also hint at an upcoming collaboration between Arjun and director Vikram Kumar, although this particular project is only expected to start production next year.
